This husband and wife team, Bruce and Bobette, have a long history of bluegrass music. Their two sons both play fiddle and sing, they started at the age of six and together they form a powerful and entertaining duo providing great vocals and twin fiddling. Gary Potter plays rhythm guitar and sings harmony. Kyle Triplett plays banjo and sings harmony vocals.

Bluegrass Brigade, Missouri
  The Bluegrass Brigade group was started in 1974 . The group as you see it now has been together 27 years. Their shows present traditional as well as contemporary Bluegrass and Gospel music, with standard instrumentation and varied lead singing with unique harmonies. Through the years, we have received many group and individual awards from the SPBGMA organization, and we are grateful for the support of our loyal friends.

  Brightwater Junction, a popular area bluegrass band, was formed in March of 1996. Hailing from Rolla, Missouri, Dixie Union is once again being seen in performances around the Missouri scene. Originally formed in 1998, the band has come together once again to provide its own unique blend of traditional and innovative bluegrass, including gospel and crossover country.

 

The Richardsons’ fresh spin on interpretation, shaded by Hatfield’s

traditional grounding and Price’s driving bass, gives the group a sound

unique in the bluegrass world. Known for their tight harmonies, blend of

old and new, instrumental and vocal pieces, and zany on-stage antics,

Dixie Union promises to entertain not only bluegrass fans, but those

The Wild Rose Band features bluegrass music telling stories of people and their joys and trials. The band consists of Shirley Robertson, a lady known for her clear voice and ability to tug at your heart strings. Shirley sings lead, harmony and plays rhythm guitar. James Van Kirk sings harmony and plays several lead instruments, including the fiddle, but you must hear him on the guitar. James wife Leah has a beautiful singing voice and also sings harmony along with playing the bass. New to the group is James and Leah’s son Braden, who sings harmony and plays the mandolin with enthusiasm and loves playing bluegrass.

Summit Grass first came into existence in early 2005 during gospel jam sessions at a local church. One thing led to another and before you know it we were playing for family reunions, churches and community events. The Petersen Family, Branson, Missouri
 

The Petersen Family Bluegrass band is a newcomer to the area following in the great tradition of family bands. Led by Jon, a recent retiree from the U.S. Air Force, and Karen the musical mainstay of the group as mandolin player and vocal harmony arranger, they enjoy blending their voices and instruments using their gifts to honor God and please audiences throughout the South and Midwest. Daughter Katie (17) plays lively fiddle breaks and tunes while Ellen (16) drives the band with her one-of-a-kind hot pink Hopkins banjo. Son, Matthew (14) enjoys lead guitar, but really has fun being creative with the bass. The sweetheart of the family, young Julianne (6), captures the hearts of audiences with her solo vocals and is learning fiddle from her older sister.

The family recently settled into the Branson Community where they have found several venues to perform including cafes, theater, churches, benefits, bluegrass competitions and festivals.  You’ll enjoy the fresh sound of a family who loves playing together with a focus on both traditional and gospel bluegrass music.

  This group is a local family group playing mostly Bluegrass and Gospel music. They have been playing together since the early 80's at which time they traveled a lot performing at festivals and fair. Recently they have stayed closer to home playing benefits and local events.
