We are looking forward to the 40th Anniversary edition of Bluegrass Pickin' Time in Dixon, Missouri this Labor Day 2008. We have made every effort to present to you a great line-up of the finest bluegrass bands in the country. This is a once in a lifetime anniversary celebration, come and join the celebration... Featured bands are: Arlington, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Bluegrass Brigade, Brightwater Junction, Dixie Union Band, Lindley Creek Bluegrass, Mark Phillips & IIIrd Generation Bluegrass Band, Pine Mountain Railroad Bluegrass Band, Rosa String Works Band, Shirley Robertson & The Wild Rose Band, The Bankester Family, The Millers, The Rowden Review, and Triple "L" Band. |

| Park activities | |||||
| Besides enjoying some great bluegrass pickin', there are some other great activities during the festival for you to enjoy. There will be lots of crafts and vendors on the park grounds, bringing you that typical festival atmosphere. For the ladies there's a quilt show, while enjoying a cup of tea. The men can reminisce to days long gone by at the old tractor show. Especially for the early visitors, we have a becoming-a-tradition fish-fry on Wednesday. | |||||

On Wednesday, the day just
before the festival starts, we invite you to come early and enjoy our
fish fry, you are invited to bring a covered dish to go along with fish.
After
setting-up your RV or camper and putting everything in it's place have
supper with us and get in the mood for some bluegrass pickin'! Time: from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday August 27th |

There will be a broad
selection of various vendors during the festival. Selling arts and
crafts of very many different kinds. You'll sure find that one special
gift you've been looking all over for. Time: during entire Memorial Day Festival |

| Show-Me-your-pride-quilt-show |

Since you're in the
Show-Me state, we invite the ladies to bring your pride quilt to show on
our show-me-your-pride-quilt-show. You can chat and exchange tips and
tricks about the fine art of quilting, while enjoying a nice cup of tea.
You are welcome to set up a table to sell your quilts. There will
also be a quilt raffle. Time: to be announced |
